The Direct Funding Program will consider funding requests for non-profit horse-related organizations to help cover the expenses of a program or activity which advances the goals of the Minnesota Horse Council.
Through grants, the Minnesota Horse Council provides support to a variety of equine related endeavors and creates a lasting impact that reaches far beyond the present.
The Minnesota Horse Council has actively supported the equine related educational pursuits of individuals for 20 years through the Tony Gasser Memorial Scholarships.
Help promote various equine related events while also promoting the Minnesota Horse Council.
Emergency assistance for those horse owners facing temporary financial hardships which may affect their ability to feed their horses.
An annual community outreach event held in partnership with the MN Horse Expo and the MN State Fair.
The Certified Stables program facilitates the improvement of quality and safety in the stable industry in Minnesota.
Minnesota Horse Council identifies and recognize rescues that meet standards of care.
In response to trail issues, the Council formed a sub-committee to help provide support and financial backing for the maintenance and development of equine trails.
The MHC Foundation’s mission is to be a philanthropic resource for Minnesota equine organizations and activities.
